About Our Club

Cedar Grove and District Riding Club functions under the umbrella of Equestrian Australia (EA) National and Equestrian Queensland (EQ) State Constitutions.

The club is managed by an enthusiastic and pro-active management committee and our events are managed by our discipline specific operational teams for Dressage, Show Jumping, Hacking and Clinic Days.

In 2012 we implemented a complete revision and restructure of club management and a new volunteer recruitment and retention program. The Modern Club Management program will ensure financial and operational sustainability for our organisation.

The revisions implemented under the program deliver a modern, fair and business-like approach to club management while providing a generous and rewarding volunteer program for our members and volunteers.

We have a sports development philosophy of continuous improvement and foster a safe learning environment for riders to development their riding and horse management skills.

We host events each month of the year with training and open competitions in each discipline. Including two hack shows per year.
